Have you had a chance yet to visit our nice new library? It is located in the new green building just across the street from the Savona Community Hall at 60 Savona Street. The Library is open on Wednesday noon to 6, Thursday 3 to 7 and Friday 10 to 3. Library cards are free for anyone who lives within the TNRD area. Just bring in a piece of identification and once the form is filled out, you can be the proud owner of a library card.

We have all sorts of items at the library besides books. We have lots of videos and DVD's for grown-ups and children. (Thank you to the people who have donated ones that they no longer want.)

We have music cd's, books on tape and cd, magazines , jigsaw puzzles and 3 local newspapers. There are 2 high speed public Internet terminals which are also equipped with word processing functions so that you are able to work on resumes, etc. NOTE: you do not need a library card to use the Internet.

Are you the parent of a child under 1 or do you know someone who is? The Savona Library has a gift for them. It is a book bag filled with bookmarks, books and cd's. Come to the library with your little one and we will be happy to give you this present.

From time to time, the Savona Library will host computer courses. Watch the bulletin board by the Post Office to find out if any courses are coming up.

If you are thinking about your garden, now is the time to come and get some books or videos to help you plan. We have a good selection and if you don't see what you want, we can order items in for you.
